To those that asked….THIS?
This is a pudding cake.
It’s like a pound cake, but so soft you would sell your liver for a piece.
So, yeah. Pudding cake.
Ingredients
1 box ready to use yellow cake mix (any brand) 1 pkg of instant vanilla pudding (recipe calls for a 3.4oz) 1 cup of milk 1/2 cup of sour cream/yogurt 4 eggs
(recipe called for morsels and walnuts, I opted to not use those ingredients to achieve a nice clean cake)Preparation
- FOR CAKE:
PREHEAToven to 350° F. Grease and flour 12-cup Bundt pan or other tube pan.- COMBINE cake mix, pudding mix, milk, sour cream and eggs in large mixer bowl. Beat on low speed just until blended. Beat on high speed for 2 minutes. Stir in morsels and nuts. Pour into prepared baking pan.
- BAKE for 55 to 65 minutes or until wooden pick inserted in cake comes out clean.
- COOL in pan on wire rack for 20 minutes. Invert onto wire rack to cool completely.
